1Scope and relationship with the General Terms
These Terms of Use govern access to the SupplyBoard website, applications, accounts, public content, directories, dashboards, and software features. They incorporate the General Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy. They do not repeat every general clause.
These Terms of Use apply when you visit or use the Platform, whether or not you buy parts. Manufacturing purchases are also governed by the Terms and Conditions of Sale. RFQs are also governed by the RFQ Terms. Partner work is also governed by the Partner Terms.
This document is a counsel-ready draft and is not in force until an approved effective date is published.
2Business-user eligibility
The Platform is intended for business and professional users who are at least 18 years old and authorized to act for their organization. Personal consumer shopping is not the intended use.
3Limited licence to use the website and Platform
SupplyBoard grants a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform for lawful business purposes according to the Agreement. No other licence is granted by implication.
4Account registration and Google authentication
Some features require an account. Google sign-in, if used, is for authentication only. SupplyBoard does not request Gmail, Drive, or Calendar access unless a separate authorization says so. You must keep account information accurate.
5Team administrators and authorized users
Organization administrators may invite users and assign roles. The organization is responsible for those users. SupplyBoard may rely on administrator instructions.
6Supplier directory and company information
Directory information may come from businesses, public sources, partners, and SupplyBoard research. It may be incomplete or out of date. You must independently evaluate counterparties, capabilities, certifications, and commercial terms before you rely on a listing.
7Claiming and managing company profiles
If you claim a profile, you represent that you have authority to do so and that the information you publish is accurate and not misleading. You will update it when it materially changes. Falsely claiming a company is prohibited.
8Sponsored listings, advertisements, and promotional placements
Paid placements must remain clearly labelled “Sponsored.” Advertising is a paid Platform service. Visibility, impressions, engagement, leads, and commercial results are not guaranteed.
9No endorsement of listed companies, products, certifications, or claims
A listing, ranking, badge, or sponsored placement is not an endorsement of a company, product, certification, or claim. SupplyBoard does not certify that a listed company holds a claimed standard unless a separate, named verification program says so.
10Search results, matching, recommendations, and rankings
Search, matching, and recommendations may use rules, data, and automated systems. Ranking factors may include relevance, completeness, geography, claimed capabilities, and paid placement. Paid placement does not remove the Sponsored label.
11User content and profile-content licence
You keep ownership of profile Content. You grant SupplyBoard a licence to host and display it as part of the directory and related features. Public profile Content may be indexed by search engines.
12CAD upload, rendering, analysis, and previews
CAD tools may convert, render, or analyse files you upload. The licence for those files is the limited licence in the General Terms. Previews are aids, not inspection certificates.
13Automated quote, DFM, routing, and manufacturability outputs
Automated DFM and quote outputs are decision-support tools. They are not licensed engineering, certification, inspection, or regulatory approval. You must have qualified people review them before manufacture.
14Machine-monitoring and operational analytics
Machine-monitoring outputs, where offered, are not a substitute for qualified maintenance, safety procedures, lockout/tagout obligations, or human inspection.
15Carbon-impact and sustainability estimates
Carbon estimates are estimates. They are not verified emissions inventories, environmental declarations, regulatory reports, or carbon credits unless a separate certification says so.
16APIs, integrations, beta features, and experimental features
APIs and beta features may change or end. Experimental tools are provided as available. Rate limits, keys, and security rules presented at access time apply. You must not use an API to scrape or overload the Platform.
17Acceptable use and prohibited conduct
The prohibited-conduct rules in the General Terms apply to website and software use, including misrepresentation, unlawful content, and interference with security.
18Scraping, automated access, security testing, reverse engineering, and competitive use
You must not scrape the directory or other Platform data, bypass technical limits, conduct security testing except through a published channel, reverse engineer except where the law prohibits a ban, or use the Platform solely to build a competing directory or quoting engine without permission.
19Third-party links and services
Links to supplier websites and other third-party services are provided for convenience. Their terms and privacy practices govern those services.
20Intellectual-property complaints
If you believe Platform Content infringes your rights, send a notice to info@supplyboard.io with enough detail to locate the material and verify your claim. SupplyBoard may remove or restrict content while a claim is reviewed.
21Availability, maintenance, and support
SupplyBoard aims to keep the Platform available but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, security work, and third-party outages may cause downtime. Support channels are described on the Contact page.
22Enforcement, account suspension, and termination
SupplyBoard may suspend or end access for breach, risk, or legal duty. Account closure may not delete all copies immediately if backups or legal retention apply. SupplyBoard does not state that it can erase all Content on demand.
