Hastelloy C-276 is the premier nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy, offering the broadest corrosion resistance of any commercially available material. It resists both strongly oxidizing and strongly reducing acid environments simultaneously — a combination no other single alloy achieves — making it the default choice for the most aggressive mixed-acid chemical processing environments.
