Delrin is DuPont s trade name for acetal homopolymer (POM-H), widely regarded as the engineering plastic that most closely approximates metal in machinability and dimensional stability. Its low friction coefficient, excellent wear resistance, and ability to hold tight machining tolerances make it the first choice for precision plastic gears, bushings, and snap-fit components replacing metal parts.
