Copper C101
Copper C101 (OFE) – Oxygen-Free Electronic Copper with 101% IACS Conductivity
Copper C101 is oxygen-free electronic (OFE) grade copper, the highest purity copper commercially available at 99.99% Cu minimum. With 101% IACS electrical conductivity it surpasses standard ETP copper and is specified for applications where even trace oxygen contamination would degrade performance, such as RF waveguides, superconducting magnets, and cryogenic equipment.
Key Properties
- Purity: 99.99% Cu minimum
- Electrical Conductivity: 101% IACS
- Thermal Conductivity: 391 W/m·K
- Density: 8.94 g/cm³
- Oxygen Content: <0.0005% (oxygen-free)
- Standards: ASTM B170 / CDA 101
Common Applications
RF and microwave waveguides, particle accelerator components, semiconductor bonding wire, cryogenic equipment, high-purity electrical conductors, and vacuum tube components where oxygen-free purity is critical.
