Bronze C932, also known as SAE 660 bearing bronze, is the most widely used bearing bronze alloy. Its composition of 83% copper, 7% tin, 7% lead, and 3% zinc creates a self-lubricating matrix under slow-speed, high-load conditions — with lead particles providing emergency lubrication to prevent seizure when the oil film breaks down.
